The Webs Most Comprehensive Senior Living GuideIt has taken over 7 years to build the SeniorLiving.Org guide. It took so long because we have been trying to represent every senior care facility and service in a fair and equal way. We don't just show the large corporate facilities that have a large enough budgets to buy advertising, we show every option (NO KIDDING). Our directory includes:
- Over 15,000 images of facilities
- Over 10,000 hyperlinks to senior resources
- Over 5,000 reviews
- Details on 75,000 senior care options.
That's a lot of data. Our directory is also different because our main focus is to be the most complete senior living resource, not the most profitable. We link to tens of thousand of other senior living resources and we include complete contact information where ever possible. We also show results based on geographic location, review ranking and sometime based on the most complete listing. Listing senior living based on the most complete listing does give priority to the service that have taken the time to create content on this site. All our effort give you more information to help you make one of the biggest decision of your senior life.
Although we wish we had more, you can see reviews of many of the senior care options. We list both good and bad reviews so you can tell that we are not sponsored by any senior care service providers. To get the most out of our directory, enter your desired area into the search bar at the top of the page or browse through our database by city below.Select a state or enter your address into the search bar.
Select a state and then city to see a "sampling" of local senior care options including assisted living. This is only a sample since larger cities may have thousands of senior care options. These pages are too large to load so we only show some of the possible options. If you use the search bar at the top, you will get a list (sorted by distance from the base location) of every possible option in senior living in your desired area. Then push one of the button on the top of the page (Assisted Living, Independent Living, Nursing Homes, Memory Care, Or Home Care) to see only those options in your desired area.
Senior living is a general term that includes assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing care, Alzheimer's/dementia care, senior home care, respite, hospice and retirement communities. Unfortunately the term senior living is used for any and all of these options. The good news is that we have information on this web site about every senior living option. If you are new to retirement or senior care planning, make sure to read our guide to everything about senior living.
