Meet Brenda Avadian

Brenda serves a critical role as our Elder Care Expert. She helps our fast-growing community of seniors and caregivers navigate the uncertain waters of aging. And she is 100% committed to her work. Author of eight books on aging, and two-time bestseller, Brenda offers expert insight on a range of senior care topics. But she has a special interest and first-hand experience in Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

When her father began showing signs of dementia, Brenda stepped in as his caregiver. This experience taught her just how life-changing the right advice at the right time can really be. So in the late 90’s, Brenda launched an online resource for families dealing with dementia — and it’s still going strong today. Brenda credits her success to compassionate caregiver support, expert knowledge, and a light-hearted and inspirational approach.

Today, Brenda continues to publish her research and rich resources for seniors and their loved ones. She also presents at conferences as keynote speaker, facilitates breakout sessions, and helps people via one-on-one coaching. When she’s not traveling and speaking, Brenda writes upwards of 100 articles each year on the most pressing senior care issues.

Brenda also channels her inner-Marie Kondo to help seniors break free from clutter and rediscover the things that truly matter in life. In fact, she wrote the book on it! It’s called STUFFology 101: Get Your Mind Out of the Clutter.
