Cincinnati (OH) Senior Living Communities

Two other serene spots are Rowe Woods with its 16 miles of trails, and Long Branch Farms with four miles of trails.

A few must-see attractions: The Cincinnati Art Museum houses 60,000 works of art and admission is free. The Taft Museum of Art, built in 1820, houses anything from Chinese porcelain to modern American masters. The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is home to 580 species of animals and over 3,000 species of plants.

If you’re in to performing arts, check out the Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Cincinnati Music Hall, Cincinnati Black Theater Company, Cincinnati Pops, Shakespeare Company, Esquire Theater, the list is seemingly endless.

The city’s overall cost of living is 11% below the national average. A one-bedroom in an assisted living facility averages $3,712 a month, according to Genworth Financial’s survey on long-term care. A private room in a nursing home averages $223 a day, while a semi-private averages $203.
